How you can contribute
Get involved and share your ideas and opinions with us. It is an opportunity for you to contribute and make a difference to your Local Health District.
There are many opportunities to contribute to Health Services in your community. We hold public forums, undertake surveys, focus groups and interviews. We also involve community representatives on working parties. These representatives help us plan, design and assess our services and facilities.
Local Health Advisory Committee (LHAC) members will have the opportunity to represent and advocate for health issues in the local community.

Corowa - Health Service Planning Survey
The Corowa Health Service Planning survey has now closed.
A Health Service Plan outlines the health services required to reflect the community’s needs into the future and makes recommendations about the best way to deliver these services.
A Partnership Reference Committee has been convened to provide local input throughout the planning process. This group involves various stakeholders including members of the Local Health Advisory Committee, Federation Council, community representatives and local service providers such as GP’s, NSW Ambulance, and the Primary Health Network.
The project team will also engage with a broad range of healthcare stakeholders including Corowa Health Service staff, social and aged care service providers, medical centres, and other health organisations.
Junee - Health Service Planning Survey
The Junee Health Service Planning survey has now closed.
In the month from 14 February to 14 March 2024, we collected 522 surveys. This represents around 12 percent of the local community. 30 surveys were from Aboriginal or Torres Straight islander respondents, 34 respondents were born overseas, 23 percent of respondents were over 70 years of age.
Thank you to all who completed the survey and shared the message about it being underway. The more information we have, the better understanding we have of the community.
You can come and chat with us about the survey results on 17 April at the Junee IGA from 12noon - 5.00pm.

Cootamundra Health Service Planning survey update
We’re pleased to announce the survey results are now in. We held drop-in sessions during October 2023, to update our community on the feedback you provided.
Health service plans
Coolamon
Information is correct as of June 2023.
The draft Health Service Plan (HSP) (PDF 2.58MB) for Coolamon Ganmain Multipurpose Service, has now been endorsed by the MLHD Board and submitted to the NSW Ministry of Health.
The plan will now be part of a statewide review and prioritisation process to be considered for capital funding.

Deniliquin

The Deniliquin Health Service Plan was endorsed by the MLHD Board and is now with the NSW Ministry of Health.

Lake Cargelligo

The Health Service Plan for Lake Cargelligo Health Service was on display for three weeks from 8 February – 2 March 2022.
The plan has recently been endorsed by the MLHD Board and has now been submitted to the NSW Ministry of Health.
